Living in God’s Love

One thing we must know
before we can have real hope, joy, or peace,
before we can walk in a mighty life-changing faith,
one thing we must know in our core,
one thing that all of our scripture knowledge,
every sermon we've heard, every truth we've learned
must be built upon is
God's Love.

God so greatly loves us...
to feel it, to breathe it in, to literally live every moment in,
to never say anything, do anything, go anywhere without full knowledge of it.

Oh, to get this truth forever inside my spirit!
Oh, that I would never veer from it,
never believe anything less than,
God is Love,
Perfect Love,
a Great and Powerful Love,
Love that has sacrificed so much for the hope
that we might — just might — one day turn and
say "I love you too Father."
